Opeyemi Akanmu
Associate Counselor
Opeyemi Akanmu is a seasoned professional with expertise in communication, human relationships, and human resources management. With academic backgrounds in Science Laboratory Technology, Psychology, and Human Resources management, she has garnered certifications and trainings in HR, Communication, and Leadership. As a results-driven HR professional, Opeyemi is dedicated to fostering professionalism and bridging the gap between organizations and their employees to drive successful business outcomes. She is committed to promoting workplace harmony, establishing structures that facilitate career growth, and aligning employee and organizational goals to achieve overall success.
Opeyemi believes in the importance of a clearly defined purpose as a catalyst for achievements. She subscribes to the philosophy that “Life does not give you what you want, you take what you want from life.” A Christian and a lover of knowledge, Opeyemi is of Nigerian descent, hailing from Oyo state.
Olukemi Oyegbesan
Associate Counselor and Lead, Reports and Assessment Manager
Kemi is a Chartered Accountant with over 26 years of experience in both financial and non-financial sectors. Her career spans reputable firms including KPMG, Evergreen Mortgage Finance Ltd, and Ecobank Nigeria Ltd, with core expertise in Accounting, Risk Management, and Audit.
In 2020, she transitioned from corporate employment to focus on people development. She now serves as a volunteer mentor, counsellor, and coach – supporting individuals through life transitions, career challenges, and personal growth.
Kemi is the founder of Thriving in the Storm, a mentoring initiative, and also an Associate Counsellor at Bloomnest Coaching Company. She is also a writer and the author of the following impactful books:
